Chemical Industries (Far East) Limited (“CIL”) was established in 1963 as a manufacturer of chlorine, caustic soda and other chlor-alkali products in Singapore. CIL was established as a pioneer company to underpin the industrialization efforts of Singapore and continues to be the prime supplier of basic chemicals to the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, electronics and water-treatment industries. CIL is also a friend of water and has been supporting every stage of Singapore’s journey towards water independence by providing key chemicals for the city state’s water purification processes.
We supply a whole range of basic chemicals in Industrial and Ultrapure range. These chemicals include Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide), Sulphuric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Chlorine amongst others.
Our industrial grade chemicals are self manufactured, locally in Jurong Island through electrolysis of sodium chloride process. These are supplied in various packing such as Bulk Tanker, Intermediate bulk containers (IBC), Drums or Carboys to suit every customer’s needs.
We also import and distribute electronic G4 and G5 grade ultrapure chemicals for the use in electronic industries including upstream semiconductor fabs and downstream electronics processes.
